This year global film production reached historic heights surpassing pre-pandemic levels, but global box office has not yet returned to these figures. Leading indie producers are developing both local and global voices to take creative risks and make authentic and distinct cinema.  This panel will explore how global audiences are increasingly demanding work which transcends national borders and how producers need to embrace international collaborations to tell culturally nuanced stories.
