FOCUS 2025 builds on sustainable foundation
FOCUS London 2025 is keeping sustainability at the forefront, from renewable-powered printing to recyclable signage and responsible textiles, proving that sustainability isn’t a limitation, it’s an upgrade.
Returning to the Business Design Centre from 8 to 9 December, FOCUS will bring together thousands of professionals from across the global screen industries. More than just a marketplace or networking hub, FOCUS has become a vital meeting point for producers, location managers, service providers, content creators, and suppliers looking to shape the future of screen production.
With access to leading industry voices, one-to-one meetings, international commissions, cutting-edge exhibitors and expert sessions, the event is designed to spark collaboration and accelerate innovation. Whether you're scouting for filming locations, exploring new post-production tools, or seeking co-production opportunities, FOCUS London is where global ideas turn into real-world partnerships.
But in 2025, one message is louder than ever: creativity and sustainability must go hand in hand.
As the global screen industries gather for this year’s FOCUS London, sustainability is more than a talking point. It’s embedded into the very fabric of the event. Hosted at the Business Design Centre, one of London’s leading B-Corp certified venues, FOCUS London has committed to reducing its environmental footprint across all levels of production. The venue itself runs on 100% renewable electricity, while exhibitors and partners are working collaboratively to cut carbon emissions, minimise waste, and highlight sustainable innovation. One of the industry’s most overlooked environmental challenges lies in print and display, but this year marks a turning point. Onward Display, based on-site at the Business Design Centre, is setting new standards with its Sustainable Lookbook, showcasing how localised production and energy-efficient machinery can significantly reduce emissions. Their printing facilities use low-temperature LED curing systems and GREENGUARD GOLD-certified UVgel technology, all powered by 100% renewable energy.
Across the exhibition halls, eco-conscious materials are taking centre stage. DISPA board from 3A Composites, made from 100% FSC-certified paper, offers a fully recyclable alternative to traditional foam and plastic signage. Other innovative substrates such as Swedboard, Kavalan Sunlight 300, Phototex, PVC-Free Vinyl and Green Cast Acrylic demonstrate a powerful shift toward circular and recyclable production methods.
Textiles are being reimagined too. PONGS Technical Textiles’ DirectTex® Softimage Contrast fabrics provide large-format display solutions with strong environmental credentials, proving that high-impact visuals don’t have to come at the planet’s expense.
“As we move into FOCUS 2025, our commitment is clear. We are not just reinforcing a foundation of sustainability but are dedicated to elevating it." said Jean Frédéric Garcia, Managing Director. "By embedding responsible practices into every facet of our operations and championing innovation across our endeavours, we aim to shape a future where creative prosperity and environmental integrity go hand in hand."
