Since joining Lewis Silkin in 2011, I&rsquom proud to have become the firm&rsquos first CILEx Associate, qualifying in 2019. I offer extensive experience in the UK immigration field, having worked across a broad range of visa routes. I am now the Legal Projects Lead for Immigration & Creative Visas. Stemming from my own background in music and passion for the arts, I&rsquove been able to specialise in and focus on my interest area of immigration law for the UK media & entertainment industry. In this space, I provide legal expertise to events organisations, production companies and agencies in film, TV, theatre, music, advertising, fashion and gaming. This includes advising, issuing, and managing Creative Worker sponsorships under our own A-rated sponsor licence and guiding companies with the management of sponsorships under their own licence. Additionally, I conduct internal mock audits to test compliance systems and processes against Home Office standards and report back on recommended changes. I always enjoy upskilling client teams on immigration law for the creative industries through virtual and in-person training sessions. Finally, I work directly with creative workers to undertake eligibility assessments and advise on their individual applications for Global Talent, particularly in the Arts & Culture category, including Film & TV.
