Selective funding 
The Netherlands Film Fund offers selective funding for the production of Dutch co-productions, open to feature films, longform documentaries and feature length animated films.  
We strive to optimize the combining of selective funding for minority co-productions with an incentive grant.  
 
conditions include: 

• maximum grant up to € 450 K for feature films, 70.000 for documentaries  

• full spent obligation on Dutch services, cast & crew 

• content decision by an external committee 

• Strong creative input required 

Film Production Incentive - 35% cash rebate 
The Film Fund operates a cash rebate incentive  of 35% cash back on qualifying production costs spent on parties subject to Dutch taxation for feature films, longform documentaries, feature length animated films and high end series.  
We strive to optimize the combining of an incentive grant with selective funding for minority co-productions. 

 
conditions include: 

• minimum total budget feature and animated feature:  
  € 1M, documentaries €250 K 

• minimum eligible spend € 150 K, docs €100K 

• maximum cash back per project €3M 

• upfront cash flow possibility 

• combined selective and incentive grant 

• decision based on cultural criteria & points system 

Netherlands Film Commission 
The Netherlands Film Commission is a division of the Film Fund and the national liaison between foreign producers and production companies in the Netherlands. We are your matchmaker and can advise on financing possibilities of the Film Fund, including the cash rebate.

Financial exploration support 
International producers that have been in contact with the Netherlands Film Commissioner about a concrete plan, who consider to shoot or post produce in the Netherlands can apply for financial support for research. We offer support for a location scout, line producer and / or post production supervisor, including visits to Dutch production companies, post production facilities, transport and accommodation.
