Why Gaming IP is Finally Taking Off in Film & TV

The lines between games and screen-entertainment are blurring - and gaming IP is now proving itself as some of the most potent source material for film and TV. This session explores why gaming franchises are finally being adapted successfully, the creative and commercial logic behind the shift, and what it means for the future of storytelling. We’ll unpack what makes gaming IP resonate with audiences today: immersive worlds, built-in fan communities, and interactive sensibilities that translate powerfully when reimagined for screen.
