Charlotte Jones is a Senior Principal Analyst at Omdia and a global expert in the film and cinema industry with around 25 years total experience in the wider media and entertainment sectors. At Omdia, Charlotte&rsquos career began back in 2023 when she was instrumental in setting up the online research and data service known as Cinema Intelligence and is since responsible for managing its day-to-day operations. As part of this she is responsible for the box office tracking and forecasts of over 60 international territories. She has also taken a lead in developing the service for it to become the most comprehensive resource in the industry. She has also expanded the team&rsquos coverage focusing on evolving market trends such as Premium Cinema and is a lead for Omdia&rsquos cross-over research from movies, games and TV. Charlotte has authored numerous, high-profile reports on film and cinema markets ranging from topics including Cinema Exhibition, Digital Cinema Technology, Box office tracking, Premium Cinema, Emerging cinema markets, Movie Release Windows, Movie IP, Studio and distributor strategies with a strong global and international focus. Charlotte leads a team of analysts focusing on Windows Chronology at Omdia. Charlotte specializes in developing analytical models for market sizing, forecasts, competitor analysis and benchmarking. As a recognised expert in the field, she is a regular speaker at conferences, key events and film festivals over many years and is frequently quoted in the international trade press on a range of subjects linked to Cinema and technology.
