FOCUS and LFF bring industry together for London networking event
FOCUS and the
BFI London Film Festival (LFF) brought screen industry professionals together at Picturehouse Central last Thursday, 8 October, for an evening of networking during the festival, ahead of
FOCUS 2026 in December. The evening offered an opportunity for colleagues and contacts from across the production community to connect, exchange ideas and strengthen relationships as the industry gathered in London for the 70th edition of the festival.

The relationship between the two events reflects the importance of creating opportunities for the industry to meet beyond individual productions and projects, building networks that can support future collaborations across film, television, advertising, animation and games.
This year's LFF marks its 70th edition, running from 7 to 18 October with a programme spanning 251 features, shorts, series and immersive works from 88 countries. Alongside its public screenings, the festival has provided opportunities for professionals to discuss the business and creative challenges facing the sector, with conversations covering collaboration, talent development and the future of cinema. Picturehouse Central has hosted a range of industry events, screenings and networking opportunities throughout the festival.
FOCUS will build on that spirit of connection in December, bringing together thousands of professionals from more than 70 countries. Across two days, attendees will have access to exhibitors, industry sessions, facilitated meetings and networking opportunities designed to help projects progress and establish new international partnerships.
