This talk will give you an insight into the narrative-driven design work a visual effects art department team delivers throughout the multi-track process of filmmaking. Framestore art director, Jonathan Opgenhaffen will illustrate how the team has worked with Directors and Production Designers to solve problems, deliver narrative beats and sequences. He'll take a deeper look at Wonka, where the team worked with Director Paul King on a pitch pack to sell the story to Warner Bros, to dreaming up the final setting and machinations of the Chocolate Factory.
