Addie Orfila is a leadership and production specialist with over 28 years’ experience in film and television. After senior roles in scripted production, she founded her own company to deliver bespoke leadership and workplace training for broadcasters, production companies, and freelancers worldwide. As lead designer and trainer for Leadership Essentials—ScreenSkills’ flagship leadership programme—Addie supports hundreds of Heads of Department across Film and Television in developing the skills to lead confidently and inclusively.

Her work focuses on leadership development, workplace culture, and industry-wide training in equality, diversity, and professional best practice. She has designed and delivered internationally recognised programmes including ScreenSkills’ Managing Your Team for Netflix productions in South Africa and Production Management Essentials for NFTS, and co-created the globally used Script to Screen e-learning modules with ScreenSkills. A mentor with Women in Film & Television, ScreenSkills, and NFTS, Addie also serves on the boards of The Production Guild of Great Britain and Women in Film & Television. At the heart of her work is a commitment to helping people and teams thrive through effective, inclusive, and compassionate leadership.
