Sarah Thomas Moffat BKS is an experienced Cinematographer. Earning three CSC nominations, a Telly Award, and multiple film festival awards for Best Cinematography; in docs, factual and narrative, features and series. Virtual Production is also part of her skill set, and has been featured in British Cinematographer magazine. Sarah speaks at conferences such as Siggraph, MPTS, and EuroCine, while featured at IBC and recently working with Netflix across the EU in virtual production. She is a member of The International Moving Image Society (formerly BKSTS), Illuminatrix, BSC Club and BAFTA Scotland voting member. Sarah also works on deaf and hearing impaired productions, born with a hearing loss, she identifies as such learning ASL in childhood, and is currently learning BSL. Sarah’s career focus is on narrative story collaborations with experienced teams, as she brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to support the vision. With dual citizenship she is a UK/Canadian and works internationally.
