Qdos Arrives at FOCUS London 2025
Qdos returns to FOCUS London 2025 following what the team describes as another milestone year of rapid growth, major investment, and deeper collaboration across the UK’s film and TV production landscape. The company arrives this year with a significantly expanded fleet and an even stronger presence on the show floor and returning as the sponsor for the Location Managers Xmas Drinks.
As James Thomas, Managing Director of Qdos puts it, “Every year we arrive at FOCUS in a stronger position than when we left. It’s been another incredible year for us supporting film and TV studios all over the country.”

Over the past 12 months, Qdos has channelled major investment into its cast facilities, refining and expanding a fleet designed to meet the evolving needs of fast-paced productions. Among the newest additions are upgraded location vehicles, cast rooms and dressing rooms, all of which have been engineered with efficiency and comfort at their core.

The company highlights that its latest makeup and costume trailers come “fully equipped… featuring comfortable seating, illuminated mirrors, wardrobe hanging space, washing machines,” and thoughtfully designed layouts that help teams work smoothly on set. Also new for 2025 are modular cast rooms and dressing room complexes, reflecting the industry’s growing interest in scalable infrastructure that can be tailored to productions of any size.
This theme of versatility carries directly into what attendees can expect at this year’s stand. Thomas notes that visitors are often surprised by “just how many products are included within our fleet and the flexibility that we can offer studios and locations.” Whether a shoot runs “for three days or three years,” Thomas says its goal is to provide seamless support, aided by a “friendly and knowledgeable team” who will be present throughout the event.
FOCUS London has played a vital role in the company’s expansion. Qdos credits the event as a key catalyst in building its network within the studio and location facilities sector. “Exhibiting at FOCUS has been instrumental in developing the location and studio facilities part of our business,” Thomas says.
“The contacts that we’ve made there, the knowledge we’ve gained and support we’ve received from the TLG team has been invaluable.” The relationships forged at the show — both with suppliers and clients — have “opened up so many opportunities,” making FOCUS not just an annual fixture, but a cornerstone of Qdos’s industry engagement strategy. Their ongoing sponsorship of the Location Managers Xmas Drinks has also become part of that tradition, and a highlight they’re eager to return to.

Looking ahead, Qdos is energised by the momentum building across film and television production. The team observes that after the challenges of recent years, “the most exciting thing is just seeing the upward trajectory of the industry.” One trend in particular aligns perfectly with the company’s direction: the rising demand for modular, scalable infrastructure. Productions increasingly need setups that can expand or contract over the course of a shoot, and, as Thomas notes, “there seems to be a real need for modular kit… which is obviously great news for us, as our products really lend themselves to that.”
As for what Thomas personally looks forward to at FOCUS 2025, the answer is rooted in connection. Eager to “get in amongst it, meeting up with clients, suppliers and colleagues,” sharing updates and “hearing firsthand what everyone has planned for next year”. and naturally, the Location Managers Xmas Drinks remain “a highlight for me and the rest of the team.”
With new investments, expanding capabilities, and a deepening role in the production ecosystem, Qdos arrives at FOCUS London 2025 ready to showcase its strongest year yet — and ready to help shape the industry’s next one.
