FOCUS to Host Exclusive PGGB Networking Lunch
FOCUS London 2025 is gearing up for another dynamic edition, bringing together professionals from every corner of the global screen production industry. Among this year’s standout gatherings is the highly anticipated FOCUS Lunch with
PGGB, sponsored by
Boomerang Carnets Media and the
Polish Film Institute, taking place on 8 December from 12:00 to 13:00 at the Shadowbox Studios Lounge within the Business Design Centre, London.
Organised in partnership with the Production Guild of Great Britain (PGGB), the lunchtime session offers delegates a valuable opportunity to connect with peers, share insights, and develop new collaborations in a relaxed, engaging environment. As part of FOCUS’s ongoing “meet the makers” mission, the event is designed to foster the kind of conversations that spark fresh ideas and open pathways to future production ventures. A long-running joke but beloved tradition between FOCUS and the PGGB — our “napkin deal” renewed each year in Cannes — underscores the warm, collaborative spirit behind their partnership.

"Cannes would not be complete for me without our agreeing the PGGB and FOCUS partnership ahead of the Producers Lunch,” says Deputy CEO Michael Beavan of this year's Cannes Film Festival 'Napkin Deal’. “Our partnership is a long and happy one, celebrating the amazing talent we have both at International festivals and here in the UK, across the Production Market."
The Business Design Centre, home to FOCUS’s bustling marketplace of exhibitors, panels, and screenings, will once again provide a vibrant backdrop for networking at every level of the industry. Amid this creative energy, the PGGB Lunch serves as a dedicated space for meaningful exchange around navigating an increasingly interconnected international landscape.
This year’s lunch is made possible thanks to the generous support of Boomerang Carnets Media and the Polish Film Institute, both of whom play a vital role in promoting global collaboration across the screen sector. Their involvement highlights the event’s commitment to bridging markets, championing co-production opportunities, and supporting the logistics behind international filmmaking.

“The PGGB Lunch is always one of the most energising moments of FOCUS, and we’re thrilled to bring it back for 2025,” comments Clara Le, FOCUS Commercial Director of. “It’s an hour where new partnerships truly begin. We’re incredibly grateful to our sponsors whose support has helped us create this environment for industry professionals to connect and feel inspired.”
Set within the Shadowbox Studios Lounge, the hour-long event promises informal conversation, light refreshments, and a welcoming space for forging new professional relationships.
