Aloha from the State of Hawaii Film Office, the Kaua’i Film Commission, the Honolulu/O’ahu Film Office, the Maui Film Office (serving the islands of Maui, Moloka’i and Lana’i) and Hawaii Island Film Offices.  Together we are FILM HAWAI’I, the regional network of film commissions for the Hawaiian Islands.  In addition to our stunning locations and  seasoned crew, Hawai’i has a generous refundable tax credit with a HIGH EFFECTIVE RATE.  Productions receive 22% or 27% on their total Hawaii spend from scout to post.  The credit applies to good and services and ALL LABOR including: Above the Line, Below the Line, Resident and Non-resident labor including talent, with no cap in the talent’s salary.   The minimum spend to qualify is $100,000.  The maximum return to production is $17 million USD.  We will have Hawaiian Coffee served this year in our booth so E Komo Mai (welcome).  Please join us for some real Hawaiian java and a ‘talk-story’ as we say in the islands, about all that Hawai’i can offer.
