Alternative Venues London (AVL) is the dedicated venue hire department within the Greater London Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association. We are a non-profit organisation which generates additional funding by hiring out over 100 Military Venues. 

AVL specialises in providing unique, film-friendly venues across London and Greater London, offering an exceptional blend of historic and contemporary indoor and outdoor spaces.  

From striking Drill halls to atmospheric Dining rooms, Officer messes with bars, Classrooms, Kitchens, Gyms, Rooftops and outdoor Training facilities, our Military Venues offer adaptable and secure spaces for filming. 

With dedicated Crew base and Unit base facilities, we make shoots seamless and production-friendly, supporting everything from feature films, TV dramas, music videos to commercials and photo shoots.
