To promote its expanding film industry, the government of the Republic of Cyprus has introduced a series of incentives aimed at attracting international producers to the island. Production companies that choose Cyprus as their filming location can take advantage of either a cash rebate or a tax credit. Additionally, they can benefit from tax deductions on investments in equipment and infrastructure, as well as VAT refunds on eligible expenditures.

Eligible production categories include Feature Films (including animation), TV Series (including Animations), Documentaries and Reality Shows.
